HAS YOUR HELMET PASSED THE DOT RANDOM TESTING?

Every year the DOT does random tests on the helmets that carry their certification. The results are published on their web site but to make it easy for you we have the links right here. It would pay to take a look at the results, at least look them over and see if your helmet is listed.

Just what should you do if it is on the list and it failed? I would think it would be time to replace it with one that has passed. If the helmet your wearing has been failed because of a labeling problem, there's no way to tell if they inspected it any further so it too may need to be replaced. Now if you're a proponent of repealing the helmet law, just wear it, what difference does it make, if there was no helmet law you wouldn't be wearing it anyway......
