Here is a
pic for you, one of Aaron on Tina going through the traps. Our best speed was
105.506, not too shabby a start in an open class (M/VG-650/4). We did four
runs before Tina decided to spit a push rod. We were done anyway. Sid had
decided the only way to push the speed up was to go to a larger carb bowl and
do some head work. Of course after the ex valve seized we realized another
reason we were getting all we had hoped out of her. Still we lucked out.
The valve guide was simply too tight and it scored the valve stem and the guide
but beyond that, nothing. We will ream it and polish the valve and refit. It is
really like the bike said, that's it, we're going home! I will forward you
Aaron's email: he is a great guy and would be happy to do the show. best

Hello ,
its Sid . I overheard parts of your conversation with Matthew earlier , and
your keen observations , real interest and personal experience really set you
apart among talk show hosts . Really refreshing after hearing so many ask
questions about something they know so little about . Keep up the good work , -
Tidewater is truly lucky to have you on the airwaves there .
Here are

February 16,
2010 Hi Phil, Mike sent an email requesting shots of our bikes for the
website. I attached a couple of photos from a trip my buddy Rick and I took
through the Columbia Icefields this past summer. Mine is the silver R100RT -
Rick rides the red R80RT. Also is a picture of my wife's (Liza) new ride. As
you may have guessed I am a beamer guy - truthfully I am a motorbike guy with a
love of beamers.
Check out our local riders club website - we have lots
of events throughout the year. http://www.valleybmwriders.com/ If I
can get it together I will call in to the show this weekend.
