There's nothing better than
getting out on the road on a warm spring day with a bluebird sky. I love it
after a big storm moves through the area and we are left with clear clean blue
skies. The air is clean and you can see all the way to the horizon. These are
days meant to be used for motorcycling. Going somewhere, anywhere the
destination doesn't matter, but the longer the trip the better.
Riding
a motorcycle has to be a lot like flying except we don't leave the ground, for
us earth bound folks it may just be as close as we will ever come to flying. I
think we do many of the same things, except airplanes do it much higher.
On many of my back road excursions I have taken the time to stop and
watch gliders, the motorized hang gliders, and the model airplanes fly. All of
these seem to be present on great days when I'm out.
I have been
enjoying the outdoors for many years, between hunting, fishing and riding
motorcycles; not to mention all of those days at sea and the fact I work
outdoors, I have a real appreciation for a beautiful day.
Lately it's
been pointed out that our skies have been acting rather strange, perhaps you
noticed. There's something fascinating about watching an airplane streak across
the sky leaving those contrails to mark their paths. Those contrails normally
only last about a minute or so and then disappear.
Recently I've
noticed that they seem to linger in the sky a lot longer. Hours longer and in
fact, they seem to collect and gather up until the sky turns overcast and
grey… Not being a scientific type, I just figured it was some harmless
atmospheric anomaly that allowed them to linger so long.
At work we
made jokes abut those lingering contrails; the government is chemically
treating us to control birth rates, life spans, weather, you can fill in the
blank. It was all in fun and I really didn't see what harm could come from it,
after all the contrails are only water; condensation trails.
But that
may not be the case, it could be some kind of government medaling with the
atmosphere to protect us from the ever presence of global warming or some other
type of experiment unknown to us. I feel like Chicken Little, looking up and
proclaiming the sky is falling or in this case poisoned…
It was
to me unfathomable that the government would deliberately monkey around with
the air we breath or do anything which would make us ill. But then again this
is the same government which has lots of hidden agendas, and as many of us well
know invented Agent Orange, and experimented with LSD. With help from my friend
James, I went to

I did as I was asked and kept an open mind. Now
I'm not too sure what to believe. When the EPA, who are supposed to care about
the quality of our air; openly refuses to investigate complaints from citizens
about their concerns about air quality. When those leaders of our government
continue to bury their heads in the sand and refuse to act on the facts or
investigate those concerns of the people they represent; you can only come to
one conclusion, there is more going on than anyone wants us to know.
