The guys at
Tidewater Motorcycles were a refreshing change. I recently rode my Harley to
the chili dog social, had a good time and conversations, and when getting ready
to leave, I had a blown taillight. They stuck around for a few extra minutes to
sell me a new bulb to get me safely on my way. Impressed with the lack of
pressure, I took my dirtbike in for some brake work. When the job became more
involved than originally expected and I decided to delay some of the repairs,
they simply said OK, told me how to avoid further damage, helped me load it up,
gave me a smile, a handshake and a lower than I expected bill and said "thanks
for your business". NO PRESSURE!! Like this was my bike and my decision or
something!! Isn't that amazing!! I will be going back, not just because the
work was well done and priced right, but because they realize that this is MY
bike, and they respect MY decisions without question, without judgement but
always with a smile. Thanks guys. John Crowell

I own a 2003 Indian
Chief Roadmaster motorcycle, and after the dealership went out of business in
Virginia Beach I had to find someone to work on my motorcycle. I took my bike
to Tidewater Motorcycle Inc and ask them if they could work on it. I told them
that I had the manuals for the bike, and they said that they can work on it. I
was very impressed with their workmanship, and their prices. I will only take
my motorcycle to them and I have recommended them to all my friends. There is
always a pot of coffee on at their little shop in Suffolk, and if you are not
careful you can spend a few hours there just talking about motorcycles. Every
Tuesday night they have a hot dog social and people from all over tidewater
come to hang out and have a good time.

Great place and
great people. Bill & Pat Brewer are wonderful to work with. Always have the
coffee pot on and a stool to take a load off. They have a great chilly dog
social every Tuesday night for anyone who would like to come both bikers and
non bikers. Everyone is made to feel welcome. They have a good service man
there and I have yet to see something he can't fix or have fixed. They carry
all kinds of merchandise to include summer and winter clothing and plenty of
extras for the bikes. Can't say enough nice things about these folks. I have
been riding for about 15 years and have waited patiently for a cycle shop to
open closer to my home. Thanks Cindy Clark American Cruisers Chapter

Pat and the crew at
Tidewater carry a good range of clothing and other gear relating to various
motorcycles. If she does not have your particular size in stock she can
normally get it within a few days and she repeatedly goes out of her way to
insure her customers are happy. Tidewater Motorcycle is the first such shop in
Suffolk catering to all of the various motorcycles from Harley's to Suzuki's
and everything in between. In this it is unique and the prices there are very
competitive with all of the other shops in the area. Add to this the
friendliness of the people working there and their knowledge and love of
motorcycling make this a truly an oasis for anyone stopping by. William M.
