Hey Race Fans!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! I hope some
of you will join us for the 5th Annual New Year's Day Ride. It is always a fun
time!!
I didn't get a report done in November, because of a death in our
extended family. I've been very busy at work. I and my son Jesse both work for
a small business we're very happy to be busy during this strange economic time.
Until the racing begins again, the Dirt Report will focus on the teams and
people associated with Dirt Drag Racing. Next month I'll focus the report on
the Charity family.
I decided to really irritate some of my critics and make this
report about my race team, Rannings Racing. Just to let you know we are not
blowing smoke about being a great team, here are the results from the 2008

I think the record speaks for itself. The trophy display in our
garage is awesome now. We have also done several events to show off our bikes
and promote the sport this fall. At each event, I have passed out cards that
have the website on them and have encouraged folks to come out and watch us
next year. At Driver Days, we entered 3 bikes in the bike show and won 2 1st
place trophies; Bill's Street Bike and Jacob's Harley Race Bike!!
As soon as I have the schedule for the 2009 season, I'll have it
posted for you.
Have a super Holiday Season and Ride Safe!!
